It really is a small world.

I’m talking two degrees of separation here people. And when people say it’s a small world, don’t mean in the small little world you live in waking up every morning and going to work. I’m talking go to the other end of the world and meet strangers who know people you know. I say this because my roommate from Victoria BC is friends with, and was hanging out in Moscow with, a girl I met at Carleton University in Ottawa about 2 months before coming to Moscow. Not only that but I met a Russian man knows the previous head of the department I may do a master’s with at Carleton University. When that happens to you on the other side of the globe, it really is a small world.
